 Sotarns forsränning was founded in
1983, and is one of the oldest rafting facilities. The fact that we are but 30 minutes
away from Umeå airport, makes us a central attraction for Swedish as well as foreign
guests. At first we were mostly visited by tourists, but we are now frequently hosting
conferences, corporate incentives, as well as the local population. We are often chosen as
the place for the activities that surround a public relations meeting.
There are many customers that wish to come to us in wintertime. To meet these customers wish, we started up our snowmobile safari and winter activities. It has come to be that we now offer more activities in winter than we do in summer, which is rather efficient considering that we usually have snow from October to May. We have experience in hosting the single adventure seeker as well as the large conference i.e. around 400 guests. All staff live and are brought up in the area, which ensures norrländsk (Northern Sweden) quality and safety. Welcome Bengt-Einar "Sotarn" Johansson
